No legitimate task ever requires your wallet seed phrase or private key.
Be cautious of tasks asking you to download or install unfamiliar programs.
Extremely high pay for simple tasks is often a scam setup.
Scammers create false urgency to prevent you from thinking clearly.
Never share ID documents, bank details, or passwords for tasks.
Don't click links or download files from untrusted sources.
Legitimate clients provide clear, detailed task requirements.
Never start work until payment is locked in escrow. The "Payment Secured" badge confirms funds are protected.
All messages on ZaphWork are saved and can be used as evidence in disputes. Off-platform communication has no protection.
Check user profiles, ratings, and completed work history before accepting tasks or hiring workers.
Client funds escrow → Freelancer completes task → Client approves → Payment released instantly. No exceptions.
If something feels wrong, it probably is. Report suspicious activity and move on.
Scammer asks you to complete a "test task" for free or very low pay, promising bigger paid work later. The bigger work never comes.
How to protect yourself: Never work for free. All legitimate clients pay for test work through escrow.
Client "accidentally" sends too much money and asks you to return the difference. The original payment is fraudulent and gets reversed.
How to protect yourself: Only accept exact payment amounts through escrow. Never return "overpayments."
Task asks you to connect your wallet to a suspicious website or sign a transaction. This can drain your entire wallet.
How to protect yourself: Never connect your wallet to unknown sites. Never sign transactions you don't understand.
Fake client requests ID documents or personal information for "verification" before starting work.
How to protect yourself: ZaphWork never requires KYC for workers. Report anyone asking for ID documents.
Client asks you to pay a fee upfront for equipment, training, or access before you can start working.
How to protect yourself: Legitimate clients never ask workers to pay anything. All fees are deducted from payments.
If you encounter a suspicious task, user, or message, report it immediately. Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours.
