Smart Contract Escrow

ZaphWork uses smart contract escrow on the Solana blockchain to secure all payments. This means your funds are protected by code, not just promises.

How It Works:

1. Client Posts Task: Payment is locked in the smart contract escrow. No one can access these funds until work is completed and approved.
2. Worker Completes Task: The worker submits their completed work for review by the client.
3. Automatic Release: When the client approves the work, or after 4 days of no response, payment is instantly released to the worker.

Wallet Security

ZaphWork provides embedded wallets for easy onboarding, but you maintain full control of your funds at all times.

Embedded Wallets:

Automatic Creation: When you sign up with email, we create a secure Solana wallet for you automatically.
Encrypted Storage: Your private key is encrypted with your password and stored securely. We never have access to your unencrypted private key.
Seed Phrase Export: You can export your seed phrase at any time to take full control of your wallet in any Solana wallet app.

External Wallets:

You can also connect external wallets like Phantom, Solflare, or any Solana-compatible wallet. This gives you complete control over your private keys from day one.

Security Best Practices

🚨 Never Share Your Seed Phrase

Your seed phrase is the master key to your wallet. Never share it with anyone, including ZaphWork support. No legitimate service will ever ask for your seed phrase.

✅ Do This:

  • • Use a strong, unique password
  • • Enable 2FA when available
  • • Keep your seed phrase offline and secure
  • • Verify all transaction details before signing
  • • Use official ZaphWork URLs only

❌ Never Do This:

  • • Share your seed phrase or private key
  • • Click suspicious links in messages
  • • Send crypto to unknown addresses
  • • Use the same password on multiple sites
  • • Ignore transaction warnings

Dispute Resolution

If there's a disagreement between client and worker, ZaphWork provides a fair dispute resolution process.

How Disputes Work:

Raise Dispute: Either party can raise a dispute within 72 hours of work submission or rejection.

Submit Evidence: Both parties provide evidence including messages, files, and explanations of their position.
3
Review & Decision: Our team reviews the case and makes a binding decision within 48 hours.
4
Payment Release: Funds are released according to the decision. Either party can appeal once if they disagree.
